Our cabin is located approx 7 miles east of the resort area of Wasa Lake, in the far south eastern corner of British Columbia. Most of our guests arrive with their own transportation. Having a vehicle at your disposal is an absolute necessity as the cabin is located where there is no commercial development (or transportation)

Wasa lake has a convenient store, service station, cafe, liquor store, and post office, while Cranbrook and Kimberley have all the amenities of a small city (45mins away). Kimberley has extensive down hill skiing runs as well as a terrific cross country ski tract, both are well lit for night skiing, it is a winter sports centre in the style of a Bavarian Alpine Resort.

Overseas guests or others from a distance can fly into Calgary, Alberta, change planes to Cranbrook BC or rent a vehicle and drive to the cabin. The drive from Calgary passes through Banff and Kootenay National Parks, driving time from Calgary is approximately 4½ hours.

Alternately, we could arrange to meet our guests in Calgary and assist them in their vehicle rental and introduction to western Canada. A modest additional fee will be charged for this service.
