My car insurance with Churchill has no restriction on length of trailer but will not cover damage to the trailer or recovery of it. |

Looked into trailer insurance a long time ago - the only way I could get cover, including recovery, was by joining the Caravan Club and they do a deal with the RAC which will cover ALL trailers. |

Time to check just what you are covered for when towing a glider trailer with your car. I have just been told by Direct Line that they will NOT cover me when towing a trailer in excess of 6m. |
